sparkling performances from guest skaters Parker Susan Kinal and David and ndy McGilloway A near capacity cro for both shows at and 7 fastened their as the senior A and girls and boys representing stewards and stewardesses skated precision perfect to Freddie Laker theme song Consider Yourself One of Us First stop was Hawaii where the Junior A girl a Irresistible as Hawaiian maidens danced the hula Colleen Petty added grace with her solo a Hawaiian prln cess Next stop was the perennial favorite Disneyland with the preschool boys and A Swiss Miss forms a pretty picture In the junior production of Alp be Adventure The featuring the Junior B girls and boys with a solo by Oakley was one of the high lights of the carnival girls costumed as various Disney characters They skated in a number led by the bear from the Jungle Book Eva Sansom Snow White Sharon Campbell fairy Godmother Susan Auty and of course Minnie and Mickey Mouse ENTHRALLED CROWD Campbell and enthralled the crowd with their solo numbers while e entire cast joined In for Disney on Parade We were zipped off to Europe for an AJpine Adventure featuring the Junior B girls and Junior A and B boys The girls dressed as Swiss maidens while the boys played In two whimsical numbers from the Sound of Music Tracey Oakley performed an artistic routine to Sound of Music as a Swiss Miss The first net also featured guest skater Susan Kinal In an electrifying number The crowd receiving her enthusiastically called her back for an encore in a picturesque blue robe Kinal performed an outstanding program en the crowd with both a jazzy upbeat dance and an elegant and Intricate routine Kevin Parker closed the act with his own powerful program and wowed the audience with explosive double Jumps Russian splits and spins The Junior cast reappeared In he cheery junior finale skating to Disney It a Small World Aflerall After intermission the trip was resumed with Las Vegas the next stopover The senior girls formed a Vegas through a charming and Imaginative production to Jim Croce Brown Then Mr Lucky himself Mike Crelghton skated a polished performance to the theme from Dallas JAPANESE GARDEN From Vegas wo flew to Japan in time to see the Intermediate girls perform in a serene Japanese Garden Bruce Michelle Perry and soothed the crowd as Geisha Girls while Wendy Norton shone In her solo feature Vienna was the next atop with Kara and Kent Petty Staccy Perry andTinaKrzyzlk Cheryl Gcnoe and Healh Norton and Ann and John Gardner wait zing under the moonlight Guest skaters Cindy and David McGilloway Joined them for their own melodic waltz and then returned to the spotlight In a flawless dance number We went from waltzing to square dan as Miss Calgary Stampede Karen soloed In a footstomping knee slapping performance Still in the western theme but over In Spain the senior A girls serenaded their bull in Viva Espana while two flamenco dancers Sarah Homer and Lisa celebrated the bullfighter victory in an impressive production Holiday HI Lites final destination was New York New York as Cindy Brouillard Andree Charlebols and Mike Crelghton bedazzled the audience with a striking performance to the song of the same name Dressed In shimmering silver and black the trio flashy number set the stage for the senior B girl production They too were clothed In brilliant black and silver for a glittering Parker returned to hypnotize the audience with a near faultless program to both an expressive Interpretative number and vibrant dance tune But as with every holiday the vacation ended too soon as the entire senior cast skated out to a lavish finale featuring the music of Electric Light Orchestra All over the World FINAL BOWb The Susan Kinal and Kevin Parker were brought out for final bows and later presented with mementos for being a part of the Club show Presentations were also made at the final production Sunday night to the executive of the Figure Skating Club the club professionals
