committee worried according to Heather Ronnie Mrs explained that the Fair Book which went out to regular exhibitors in the winter was correct However the book which went out with the Acton rec Press earlier this par incorrect Every thing from he Hall Section on is from the 1980 book and thus essentially Incorrect for this year A revised edition went out a week Inter giving the new categories added since last year but Mrs Ronnie is worried many may not have seen the revised book Anyone who needs further Information can call Mrs Rennle at 1760 or Lucille Cooksley The Hall committee is also concerned with the mount of recurrent mistakes people make when they submit work for Judging on fair day Mrs explains that entry registrations should already be in to the fair secretary treasurer John Box now that arc not already regis tered must send their In to Howe before the fair begins next Friday Items must be handed in no later than Horn on Friday A lot of people Just don follow the rules in the fair book Mrs Rennle stated Some examples of the rules being ignored she said arc people using quarts instead of pints art work that is Just handed in loosely in stead of mounted and framed as specified the number of Items In the entry handing In four or six bran muffins instead of the requested five people handing work that is not their own In many cases the Judges will disqualify the work which is some thing they regret doing but Is necessary In the art section only one entry Is permitted per person per category Just use common sense Mrs explained All the rules have a reason whether
