Press Writer Wendy Thomson She was very interested In the Civil War history and kept up with the news in Acton until death As avid a reader as she was she enjoyed writing short stories mainly about events that happened when she was young She also liked to write poetry and liked to paint also Mrs Carnochan lived the first years of her life at Acton and moved back for another five years later on She loved her senior citizens apartment where she made many new friends in her five years there She was predeceased by her husband Robert Carnochan her parents and three sisters Annie Frank and MacLeod Acton and Mary Simpson Saskatchewan Left to mourn her loss are daughter Dolores Doughty Guelph two granddaughters Susan and Sandra Guelph brothers Arthur Stewart Dawson Creek C and Fred Stewart of Montreal and close friends Viola Sprowl Acton Velma Kennedy Milton Mary Brit ton Alma Bullock and Pearl Anderson all of Guelph formerly of Mrs was affiliated with the Jehovahs Witnesses Earl of Acton officiated at the funeral January at Shoemaker Funeral Home Pallbearers were Jim ORourke Acton Ivan MacLeod RR1 Acton all nephews Andrew MacDonald Toronto cousin and Ivan Armstrong
