Jack as defense counsel and Catherine Shane from the Elizabeth Fry Society probation officer Dennis Kunze and Regional Police Constable Arnold Van on bond to fill their roles as two fictitious characters were The fust case involved William Klutz played by Ken who was caught with his hands in the till of a Georgetown food store long after closing hours Klutz pleaded guilty and the students got a chance to see the court procedures right from his arraignment to his sentencing The case of Laurie Ann Wellington played by Karen Vanderlaan was a bit more com plicated as she plead not guilty to charges of mischief after a fictional evening when she kicked in a window at Acton High School Constable Van Chef testified he saw her break the window and arrested her right away during a school
