from Cub leader Peter Dubeau a certificate of appreciation to the sponsors of the Scout and Cub Pack Refresh menta were served in the basement of the church where everone enjoyed a friendly gettogether Thirty Four Cubs and 16 leaders from Hills burgh and Erin ended their Cubbing season with a three day weekend Camp at Bass Lake near Or ill I a This tri pack camp was a success and the Cubs enjoyed night games fishing and a scavenger hunt Hiking and tin foil dinners were also enjoyed by the Cubs The following weekend the Ospringe Guides concluded their visit with the Richmond Hill Guides when they Joined together in a combined weekend camp at the United Church Camp ground In Milton There were 39 Guides In this group with eight leaders and they spent the weekend cooking on open Margaret Patricia and Gerry and by Jan who had special games for the tiny tots had been generously donated by Mrs Edith Storey Everyone was soon drawn Into the fun which ended with a game of donkey baseball with no donkeys but lots of handicapping rules for adult players Then there was time for a walk or a rest before the bus left for home with most of us sporting the first sun bums of this cool
