for many many years He and his wife Alice have also been presidents of their respective leagues in the North Hat ton Curling Club and Mintern and a Brampton man Charlie started one of Hal on biggest tournaments the Halton Peel Mint em and his wife were avid golfers when they came to Georgetown in 1960 from While golfing at the North Golf and Country Club they made several lasting friends who suggested that when the golf season ended why not lake up curling Mintern and his wife accepted the advice and for the next few curling seasons they bacame more and more Involved in the sport From
