Emerald Letter stirs trouble lie Referee disappointed by turnout Denr Sir To the acta of my last letter were simply stated and were correct They will never change and were expressed from my point of view only It is with deep regret that my letter has caused so much inconvenience to the live of the Acton Referees Association and those pressured to resign Some completely unknown members of the community have threatened the physical well being of some members of the Acton Referees Association over my letter As a member of the community I am again disheartened that people of this town can stoop so low as to threaten people It is a very sorry state of affairs when a simple letter designed only to express one person point of view has turned Into such an ugly situation Is it any reason young people go astray when they have their parents fine example to look up to The threats to another per sons well being What would these Irresponsible people do with something really important After all this Incident was over a benefit game and a subsequent letter expressing my own view points The benefit game was something the referees wanted to do for minor hockey in town and has been done willingly over the past four years Now It has all fumed sour and been thrown back In our faces by some- It Is the young people who have turned nut be the real losers over this Incident My apologies to
