Lacrosse players were big winners at this year awards evening with two Acton Juniors aid 12 Georgetown residents honored Actons Steve Talllefer and Rob Porte helped Orange lo an Ontario Junior C crown while Mike Travers Blaine McCauley Theresa Finn Trevor Knight along with coaches John Irene and Bridget McCauley helped the Brampton tykes to an Ontario crown The Brampton claimed a Canadian title with coaches Mike O Brien and John McCauley leading locals Jason Knight Rod Shannon Finn and McCauley and their Brampton teammates to the title Two Georgetown bowling teams picked up provincial honors
