Acton Wednesday Sept 1984 B3 CurranMajeury vows at Knox Church Angela and Bryan were united in marriage on July 7 at Knox Presbyterian Church The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Curran Carbonear Newfoundland and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Majuery BR 1 Limehouse Rev Peter Barrow conducted the double ring ceremony Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a lace over satin gown with seed pearls lace sleeves and a matching veil carried a bouquet of red roses with white baby breath Maid of honor was Beverly Curran sister of the bride Bridesmaids were Joanne Rum boll fnend of the bride and Liz Majuery sister of the groom Their dresses were made of mauve sheer over satin with bustles at the back The attendants carried white fans with mauve lace mauve forget meoots and large pmk roses Best man was Rex friend or the groom Ushers Perry Armstrong friend of the groom and Luc Savoie brother- inlaw of the groom The best man and ushers wore black tuxedos with white shirts black bow ties and a mauve carnation boutonniere Thegroomworeablacktuxedo with tails a white ruffle shirt black bowtie and red rose A reception followed at the Elks Lodge where Mrs Curran greeted guests wearing a short blue polyester dress with sheer cape and a corsage of light and dark blue roses Mrs Majucp assisted wearing a short pink polyester dress with lace bodice and a matching jacket with a corsage of light and deep pink roses Guests attended the wedding from Newfoundland Toronto Cambridge Inglewood Brampton and Georgetown with Kevin San infer brotherinlaw of the groom as the photographer Prior to the wedding the bride was enter at two showers A linen shower given Beverly Curran and Joanne Rumbolt followed by a miscellaneous shower given by Brenda Taylor and Carol Savoie sisters of the groom The bride and groom were entertained at a Jack and Jill party held at l given by the grooms family
