colourful display of their work with demonstrations which created much interest during the and evening Miu Dorothy Stone local artist painted one of the prize winning arrangements of the show Completed works were also on display two of which were arrangements from other shows painted on the spot The Society s refreshment committee headed by Mrs C Bradley and assisted by Mrs Wm Boyle provided another popular spot by serving refresh during the show The downtown location the extended hours and the day being Friday proved very popular Many lingered for some time to reap the full impact of colour arts and crafts of those who make it a part of life B copped the most points in the show honours with Miss E Jackson placing second Miss E Jackson was recipient of the Mrs S Bennett
