late in the middle frame Scott scoring from the faceoff up high into the net The carpet crew went lo the attack in the third period and got their second goal Mike Greg Into Mike Ryan at the comer of the crease Mike tucked it under the goalie for the score Both teams took penalties and neither team could take advantage Pongs pulled their goalie with seconds left and the carpet crew took a penalty but they held on for the win Paul Mc Cracken earned the shutout A FINAL ROUND Armstrong Bros 4 Johnson Carney Realtors This game saw fathers team Armstrong against his sons team JC ana the real estate boys pushed the construction gang hard against the wall before bowing 3 Armstrong scored two power play goals and that was the difference The first goal Ray McMahon to Sam Watt who bounced it In from play their second goal Patterson banking one in off an Arm strong player from behind the net the realtors pulled their goal and scored when Armstrongs goalie was caught out of position after making lhe first stop Rick MacLeod set up John Dickson in front of the empty net The realtors pulled their goalie twice for in the Armstrong end zone but just couldnt put the puck in the net Jerry Vandenburg and Dean Broadbentgotonecach Assists went to 3 Inglis Vandenburg Zuber Cook 2 and Ron Christie unassisted St Andrews from then from Freestone replied for Lanes SEMI FINAL Park Toyota 3 Cycle ft Sports 2 The cycle crew really sur prised the Toyota gang who were hard pressed for the win Toyota struck first Ken Pern on a slap shot set up from Mike Zuber They went up 20 when pounded home the rebound on
