Mrs John NORVAL of the village was opened and the traffic Is now zooming straight through The highway Is widened to three lanes going up the hill for a truck lane so that heavy loaded rucks will not hold up the flow of traffic Then the highway narrows in again at the top of the hill Residents who live near this spot say there is a continual honking of horns and squealing of brakes as the car drivers will not stow down to let the trucks back Into the traffic These so- called Improvements to the highway Just seem to shift the hazards from one spot to another Residents hope that traffic lights will now be installed at the main comer of the village however if they are installed some motorists will travel all the faster through the village to try to beat the slop light Saturday Oct 13 Saturday Please continue to save empty bottles for the brownies because they will have another bottle drive in the future An easy way to save the bottles la to get a cardboard carton from a store when you are shopping then when you have an empty bottle wash it put It In the carton and when the brownies have their next drive Just set the carton out at the front of the house for them to collect It is
