44 Teams Will Participate In International Bantam Tournament The annual Georgetown International Bantam Hockey Tournament acknowledged as one of the finest tourneys In Canada will be held this year from Saturday March 16 to Saturday March 23 Tournament chairman Harry Levy the 44 team positions have been filled Mr Levy said he already has teams placed on standby status should any of the teams drop out He expects some SO to team entries to arrive between now and the iment date year some eight teams dropped out of the tour anient most due to the finals No team can the OMHA finals to play In a tournament Teams are placed in tour nam en slots on a first come first serve basis Last year champions from Peterborough will be back to defend their title addition to teams from Ontario Quebec and the northern United States Teams are placed in one of four divisions depending on the population of the area ids they represent Class A teams represent areas or towns with a population over Class teams represent towns with a population between 15 and Class C teams are from towns with a population between S and 15 Class D Is comprised of teams representing a centre with less than persons A total of 79 games are during the week Each day sees 12 games with seven fames going on the final day he winners of divisions A and meet In a semi final while winners in B and divisions meet in a similar semi final The winners of these matches meet in the final game The only change in the tournament format this year will be in the timing of the third period Previously the first two periods one dollar for students No games will be played on the Sunday Daily admission for those without the week passes will be fifty cents per adult and twenty five cents per student The tournament will be
