Sunday and the grace beauty and talent of the area figure skaters combined to provide an exciting and en afternoon for all who the event The organization of the event was first rate and at the enthusiasm of the audience was reminiscent of the spirit seen at athletic contests Each com peting team had Its supporters present and when their respective favorites took to the ice a rousing cheer arose The Georgetown team won the overall team contest with points Brampton was second with points Chlnguacousv Georgetown f in interclub laced third with 16 points and Credit finished fourth with points Congratulations are in order for Club President Ron Snow and special credit for the actual organization of the event la extended to Mrs Donna Massena In the National Badge test Cathy Smeaton of Georgetown was third Wendy Ebbcr of Brampton placed second and Pamela Sim of won top spot In the Mixed Dance Event Eddie Howard and the lovely Lana Ellison of Georgetown placed first Phillip Moore and Kim Browne of Brampton were second and Ron and Ann Griffith were third the PreJuvenlle class Georgetown took first and second spot Carol Anne was first while Janet Shepherd placed second Third place went to Miss Shelley Barge of Chlnquacousy In the Juvenile event top honors were gar nered by Ka thy of Port Credit Hayley of Georgetown came In second and Susan York of Port Credit was third In the division attractive Rene Pilots of Georgetown placed first Second place went to Sandra Elliot of Brampton while Debbie Taylor of chlnguacousy finished third Georgetown did not have any entrants In the Novice event Kathy of Brampton was first while second place was awarded to Kay Alien of Chlnguacousy The Girls Interpretive winner was Jane Kerry of Brampton while Sherry Smeaton of Georgetown placed second and Ellen DeCristoforo came in third The last event of the was the Boys In Paul Moore of Brampton captured first place David Watson of Georgetown placed second and Jeff Pearcy or Chlnguacousy to drop a double header to Bishop MacDonnell High School last Friday evening The Juniors Knicks open lead lost but their effort could only be termed disorganized Coach Murray Hall was absent along with Jim who la the heart of the team and floor Quarterback In addition two other starters did not play due to poor health For those Seniors who were in at tendance it was a Waling experience but one which could go a long way in developing team maturity if viewed in the right perspective The Senior Rebels lost In a game which saw both teama outclassed at times At one point the Rebels were down 10
