seem to have with In it branch Those kind comments are greatly appreciated as we try our best to moke all new comers and guests feel at home and don sitting by themselves for very long unless It is their wish they prefer it that way There were three door won by a guest from Mlsslssauga branch Bill Greenfield of Milton Branch and Doris Chamberlain of Georgetown Branch Two raffle tickets holders were the winners and these prizes went to Jim Watson a guest of a Georgetown member and Tom Clarke Ways and Chairman of Branch Greenfield Zone Commander from Misslssauga Branch was Indeed pleased to present two Past Officers Medals we evening One went to Wanda of Brampton Branch No Wanda was our Zone Poppy Chairman for several and did an exceptionally fine job while holding that office The second medal and badge went to Ralph Howes who was our Zone Commander a few back and of course did a fine job also in this busy important job of keeping on a happy even keel amongst all the 11 branches in the Zone Ralph is a member Georgetown Branch as most of jou know We congratulate both Comrades on receiving these well deserved awards Zone Commander thanked Georgetown or their hospitality and said he hoped that both Wanda and Ralph would continue to serve their respective branches in the future as they have in the past We arc sure they will The Ladies Auxiliary meeting last Thursday was well attended and the executive was pleased lo see so many members out There were Tour ladles initiated into the membership There will be more next month which will swell our membership eon If someone would please give me their names so I could let others know I would be pleased Draw for the quilt was made and Maureen was the winner Tommy Dixon won the lamp and Carswell won the candle holders There was another draw made for groceries and Morg Hale was one of the winners The Auxiliary held their rummage sale on Saturday morning and from all reports It was a huge success They ore holding another
