books In the first summer reading program by Georgetown and Acton libraries Friday each received a gold medal on a red white and blue ribbon in conjunction with the theme Reading Olympics Donna Brown of Georgetown was honored for reading the most books in the two month competition period Donna rend Melanie was honored for being the first to read 12 books In Acton Mike Long and Susan Masse of Georgetown lied for first completing twelve books ahead of the other library club members All participants in the 1978 Reading Olympics visited heir local library during the day to deliver oral book reports Charts were made to follow each child Parent volunteer Mrs E Pat Robinson and Mrs Schreiber assisted with this special project at Acton library while two summer students Deborah Ann and Lynda floor length lemon yellow voile gown with ruffled cape sleeves The dresses feature tiny flowers throughout the material with a brown velvet ribbon tied at the waist They wore matching hats The at
