Clipper Classic swim meet last weekend and defeated fourteen of the top high school teams in Ontario This Is the second year in a row that the Rebels have won the prestigious Clipper Classic The team composed of of a younger nature than years swam well enough to edge out second place Kennedy Collegiate by a mere three points Doth and Cheryl Thompson placed two each and the senior girl freestyle relay team also placed f rst Coach Adams said he was surprised at the performances from the team because he sure if the talent they had would come together Holy Cross on the move Holy Cross girls basketball team seem destined to repeat the excellent performance of their championship squad last Fall Two weeks ago the girls won the annual Acton High School Red and White tournament for public schools defeating I Dick Milton and This past Saturday the girts team won the Burlington Assumption tournament competing against teams from the Burlington area After beating St Michaels Canadian Martyr the Georgetown Holy Cross squad won the championship against St Pauls The girts are hosting a tournament this Saturday at he Holy Cross gym Their games are scheduled In the Curling in the
