Smith this year after placing fourth at Maple Leaf Indoor games at the end of January nd winning the indoor championship for the second straight year He recorded a personal best time for the indoor BOO race Last weekend at the York University Indoor track complex Smith competed in the BOO and 1500 m Ontario Indoor titles Leading off the day with the 1500 race Smith placed second by a mere 3 of a second to Dave clocking 3 3 He said that although it was a personal best indoor time he dldn t consider the race a very good one This could bo part due to expert meriting with a new strategy of leading the race right from the start which proved to be Ineffective as he was out kicked the final Up of race AVENGED LOSS Later in the day Smith avenged his narrow loss and defended his title by out
