Alexander was presented with her team s MVP award for volleyball then earned the Sheridan College Female Athlete of the Year award at their yearend banquet Inst week In winning the Anna Porter Memorial Trophy as Female Athlete the school recoRnlied the third year business administration student as the number one power hitter on her team She boasted an average of Just under five kills per game Alexander helped the Sheridan Bruins ladies volleyball team to the finals of the OCA A provincial championships She was also named to the OCAA All Rugger In Hal ton seems to be growing gradually making gains In the high schools Acton High School have three Rugby teams this year Instead of the two teams they fielded last year Under the direction of Dave Boycott and Murray Kilmer the boys arc
