Hull clan reunion draws 70 FIFTY OF THE BEST Hector and Mary Bird celebrated their anniversary Friday but Ihere a special gathering or couple at lllllcrest United Church north of Ilomby Saturday had many games lined up for the children and contests for the grownups The highlight of occasion was a sumptuous meal served buffet style George Hulls of St Catharines called on Charles Burt to say grace This was followed by friendly chitchat and laughter around the tabic as oil enjoyed the delicious food At the conclusion of the meal George again spoke briefly He said how pleas ed he was to see the Womens Institute held their annual dinner meeting Thursday at Brackens Restaurant in Georgetown after which Amy invited every one lo her home for a meeting President Mc Lean called upon Gladys Chester and Marie Murray to express members appreciation for the ded icated efforts of long time members Amy and Edna Murray Each was presented a life- membership pin a certifi cate and a corsage Among business handled at the meeting was a donation to be sent to organizations in movement for disarma ment which the pro moted during the Victoria Day parade in Ethel Webb reported on her day at
