Georgetown Track Club Running hints Lets look at new routes a person has been running or a few years or even a few months It can become a tittle boring running the some routes day alter day The Track Club therefore would like to share with you some of our favour ilea you arc still limited to 20 or 30 minute runs you pretty well have to slay within town limits Its always nice lo run a loop rather than an out and back course Oneorouroldstand Is the route A nice half hour run can be accomplished by starting at the corner of Gueiph St and Mountalnvlew Road and running south on Mount alnvlew Turning east on Delrex run right out to and cross to Armstrong Ave Follow Armstrong all he way Mountalnvlew and back to Gueiph where you started Of course you can start anywhere on this loop that you want and put In your run Another run we do lhat is a sequence of three progressively larger loops starts at Maple Ave aild Gueiph SI If you want to do a short run head west on Maple lo Trafalgar Road and turn south proceeding through Stewarttown lo 15 then east to Main St South Run up Main St and you will be back on Maple The two other longer loops of which were referred to also follow Maple out to Trafalgar Cross over Trafalgar heading west on 17th Slderoad and either head south on the or lines depending on how far you wish to run Come back Into town via and up Main SI again Thenicethingaboutthesethreeloopsuiyou don have to make a final decision on the distance until you ore out there lis also nice because once you leave town there Is not a lot of traffic Surely of you who have been running for any length of lime nave a great variety of routes Maybe these will add a little spice lo your exercise RUNNING SHORTS more more people are joining our club members for our Sunday morning run We have people of all Mam at the high school Why not join us for a little run followed by coffee and In the school afterwards You might enjoy the company Why run alone Georgetown
