Guide units visit outdoors hospital All of the units Id the Georgetown West District have been very busy since Guiding started In September The Brownies have been making tray favors for the patients Georgetown hospital at Thanksglv and Christmas The Brownie Pack went to camp twice In October the Brownies earned their explorer observer and pack try with Pathfinder leader Lynn The 2nd Georgetown Guides have been on several outings Some of the girls enjoyed a hike to the Sixth Lino property where they learned to cook over open fires and played wide games the company visited twice to entertain the people there The girls really enjoyed hostessing the parties and making small gifts for their new hiking tobogganing and snowsboe- Of all the Units in Georgetown West and East the Pathfinders have been the busiest of all The members of the Georgetown Pathfinder Unit has been camping three times They went to a birthday camp at Wyoks wilderness camping with the Georgetown Scouts and winter camping at Ma KeeWa The Scouts also Invited them to go on a 15 km hike along the Bruce Trail We are happy say that everyone including leaders The girls also worked on ceramics In the month of November boated a Christmas party for Guides and were Invited to parties held by he Venturers and Georgetown Scouts The Brownies GuldeB Pathfinders and leaders would like to thank the Georgetown Lions Club and their Judges for giving us the first prize plaque for the Best Theme Float in the Georgetown Santa Claua parade Thanks also to Bums Transport for providing the flatbed and truck We would also like to
