Germany on March 14 1930 Prior to her mar riage she trained as a nurse at the Eden vale Hospital near Johan nesburg South Africa Later she took a course In Midwifery In England and on coming to Canada qualified as a Registered Nurse In this country She had the distinction of being a fully qualified nurse In South Africa England and Canada In 1979 after a course of study In Collete University of Toronto she achieved her Batchelor of Arts degree In Psychology She taught Psychology at Sheridan Col lege Brampton Campus and at the Credit Valley School of Nursing She did private nursing In connection with hospitals in Georgetown and Brampton As a hobby she was a gifted artist and on occasion painted murals for stage plays and other community She was active in the Community Centre and a member of the Prayer Group in Holy Cross Church She also managed the Diet Center In Georgetown for a number of years She was a most helpful and con siderate person and was quick to respond wherever
