Hills proclaim the week of May 8 14 1 988 as RESPECT FOR LAW WEEK and ash all citizens of Georgetown to join with the Optimists in carrying the message of respect for law to other citizens and by Planning Coun cil a profit research and plann ing group Is hosting a community meeting where representatives from agencies churches service clubs and individuals throughout are being invited assess the relevancy of a recent provincial in itiative for and decide whether or not an Access nent Housing Committee should be formed in and what if any support services should be instituted help local find affordable housing As a follow up to the International Year of Shelter for the Homeless the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Communlly and Social Services recently announced a new joint
