from the first film Her ex- boyfriend takes some very in criminating photos down in Colom bia S A and sends them to her before he is killed His murderer kid naps Sue in and Mick rescues her However the bad guys are still on the loose and Mick and Sue run off to Australia back to Walkabout Creek where they first met There they are tracked by kingpin Luis Rico until Dundee defeats them one by one with one arm tied behind his back Superman watch out theres competition down under As you can see the plot from every other movie that comes out of Hollywood Surely Hogan could have come up with a more original idea Because of this predictable premise the film tends to drag a little until the groups arrive in Australia At least that territory Is not so well The drug smugglers ore latinos an evergrowing stereotype In movies and on television Bad nough that men are por ing him However I never lust my heart for blond men The role is hardly challenging As himself says hes no Laurence Olivier And the plugs for Fosters Lager are numerous Talk about American corruption could teach Madison Avenue a thing or two The forgettable Linda Is the forgettable Sue Charlton the girlfriend She did not make much of an impression on me in the first film and she continues to be a thoroughly negligible presence In the sequel I hope didnt pay her too much All in all Dundee Is okay You wont feel cheated
