Teen Outlook Page Coop students getting Around Town Acton high school Report By JAMIE HARRISON Outlook Special A group of Cooperative Education student have certainly been making name for themselves within Hills and Indeed the music industry Mike Bellinger Craig Marshall and Katie Tucker are the three media students who write edit produce and Interview guests for their show Around How did you three get chosen for the program Craig Katie was the first to sign up for it and about two weeks before the beginning of semester I had decided to go into radio as a career So I thought I might try to get a lit tle experience in this end of the medio because It does involve being on onair personality So 1 asked Mrs Metcalfe teacher If I could be in it well And then Mike come along the week the coop started and sold I wanna be In the media amp So we were the first to ever hove three people to one coop Katie Its really worked out great really great You are alia the first group to have a double coop Dors that have any added responsibilities Mike Theres a lot of extra responsibilities one is that you have to get double the required hours Katie When we started the coop we also had other classes and we really couldnt do much with the co op Either we had to do well in school or In the coop so we wanted to concentrate on one The show was more fun we met more people and certainly gained more experience Craig With the double coop Its really not the extra responsibilities so much but Its Just double lime for what we had already been doing but Just get a belter product out Became of the
