Herald Special The Holy Cross Volleyball Touma on Saturday Nov 19 was a great success The following were the schools in vlted to the girls tourney Centen rial St Francis Stewart town St Matthews and Holy Cross The format was set up with two pools of three teams each with round robin play There was a three woy tic In Pool A so the loser the St Francis Stewart town game would go to the consolation finals The loser was St Francis with a 1511 In the consolation final Centen nial the third place team in Pool A faced St Francis the third place team in Pool B and Centennial grab bed fifth place overall with a Holy Cross won the first game semi finals over St Matthews with a whopping 155 winning score in the second game semi finals by a narrow margin with a 16- score over rivals Stewarltown In the finals Sherratt met Holy ross In a beat of three games series The first game both looms used up their timeouts as the teams were working out their strategies Both teams put no subs in and Holy Cross went on to win the first game by a hair with a 1512 score In the second game both teams put In subs to rest their starters and used up their two timeouts rather early in the gome This time Holy
