the Georgetown Raiders For the second consecutive season the Blades the Raiders from Cen tral Ontario Hockey League playoffs in four straight games as the hometown Blades earned a comeback 7 5 overtime win at Arena on Wednesday night The win gave the Blades a 40 sweep of the bestof seven quarter final series and left the Raiders with haunting memories of last year when the local Jr B s then known as Gemini were also sidelined by Oakville in four I really disappointed with the loss said disconsolate Raider head coach Peter Sturgeon after Wednesday game I thought with our offence we could win the series Tonight I thought we played well enough for a win We took it to them but they wanted it bad too It was do or die for the Raiders on Wednesday with Oakville holding a stranglehold on the series after recording wins of 7 OT and last week Things started off well enough for Georgetown as the club held a 41 advantage after the first period at Oakville in what was arguably their best 20 minutes of hockey in the series C Foster who played well in both games at Arena drew first blood before Greg sandwiched a pair of goals around one by Brant Mahoney Cigien beat Oakville starter Glen
