a tourist village to the Olde Hide House in Acton Dominion Seed House executives held a press conference in the North Golf and Country Club Thursday to quell rumors that their lands located in a triangular 55 acre chunk between Maple Avenue Mountainview Road and Highway were up for sale We wanted to avoid the rumor mill said executive vice president Charles MacLean after speaking to a room full of Hills town councillors and a hand ful of businessmen politicians and reporters We wanted people to be aware of what our intentions are Dominion Seed House president Margaret Harding said the family will retain ownership of the land but will lease parcels to chosen candidates The planning process for the pro posed village which will do for Georgetown what the Olde Hide House has done for Acton is in its preliminary stages From to 30 acres are being considered at this time for retail uses currently not available in the town and will include an ex panded garden centre restaurants offices a hotel and specialty stores that will offer upscale products at reduced rates according to information released by the Dominion Seed House The Dominion Seed House whatever else happens is
