season starting gate like the famed champion race horse Secretariat Two convincing wins on the road last weekend over day night and over Bradford on Sunday make for a very satisfying start for a hockey season regardless of the league Hopefully the Sabres won suf fer the same fate as Secretariat who was put down last week because of an incurable hoof TAIT REALTY Both Sabre wins came about as a result of third period surges by the Acton crew a credit both to the team s conditioning and the train ing camp regimen of head coach Ken Steen The offensive splurge was similarly backed up by two
