Stewarttown Stmgers upset Centennial Chargers 3735 to claim the 1990 North Halton Public Schools boys Tier I championship in the game played Thursday even ing at Georgetown District High School By virtue of the win the Stingers move on to compete in Halton semi final championship play either March 6 or March The Chargers season is not over however as they will be competing for a wild card berth in the Halton championship by going against teams from East and West areas In a finalist playoff Going into the game the Stingers t given much chance of wrestling the North Halton championship from their cross town rival Chargers Chargers finished In first place over the regular season in the North League with the Stingers being relegated to runner up status two points behind the regular season
