to their 1990 tax bill if Regional council approves the recommended operating taxsupported budget during a vote today Wednesday If Halton proposed tax supported budget which calls for a 10 3 per cent increase Is approved the average household will pay almost for all Regional services this year The Regional tax bill is made up of three components the tax supported budget Regional ser vices such as police health and public works water and sewage rates and the solid waste disposal budget The tax supported budget calls for the average household to pay just over this year for Regional services a or 10 7 per cent increase over 1989 But households in Halton Hills are not recognized by the Region as average Georgetown and Acton residents will see their costs for Regional services increase by 12 per cent The 8 per cent dif is due to a special levy for several Credit Valley Conservation Authority capital projects that on ly pertain to Halton Hills and a formula determining assessment said the Region treasurer Joe Regional services are expected to cost almost million said Mr Rinaldo The tax supported budget represents about per cent of the total tax bill The Region director for budgets Dave
