also a good play as he made a great throw and the runner was out while stealing For the Blue Jays Km and Nathan Martin both had two base hits and Nathan Martin and Jean Hardcastle contributed with one RBI each Sean Hardcastle is also credited with his good throw Expos Tigers Sam Southworth played excep tionally well for the Expos as he had a grand slam home run He also had great pitching ability that helped the Expos defeat the Tigers For the Tigers they had a tremendous comeback when they were losing Andrew Wright had base hits while Paul Farmer made a great play with base hits when the bases were loaded and made the team comeback with runs Outstanding plays also go to Brent for his great pit and also to Brian Normore Royals Dodgers 5 For the Royals Jason Vanmeizel had an outstanding 1990 regular season record to by thumping Milton In a game played last Wednesday at Acton Arena Ryan Young in the Rams net was a standout and a major con tributing factor in the team s lopsided win Rams led 20 after the first period and edged ahead 31 after two frames A fivegoal Acton explosion in the third period coupled with a tight defense that blanked Milton gave the Rams the welldeserved win Kyle paced the Ram shooters with three goals He also picked up an assist David scored twice for the Rams while singles went to Jeff Newman Richard and Chris Lee Mike Krause and Paul Withers had assists i the winning effort Last Friday and Saturday the Rams competed in a tournament in Guelph but were eliminated from further play after losses to Hamilton and Syracuse The Rams lost 74 to Hamilton and 71 to Syracuse A four goal Hamilton first period outburst to no replies from Acton put the Hills team behind the proverbial eight ball and they just never recovered Acton Hamilton over
