THE HERALD OUTLOOK Saturday July a ISM- Page By Glenda Hughes Since reporting to you last week regarding the merits of having the tiles and fixtures in your bathroom reglazed I thought you might like to hear the happy story of some clients that did go this route Earlier this week I stopped in to see my clients to find a hive of activity at the house The decorator was there the well driller was there to do a well report and The Bathtub People were there say it was chaos I found that all this activity was mak ing everyone rather elated and hyped up so it was a very op portune time to take a little peak at the progress being made I was most concerned about the bathrooms so I took a jog up the stairs and I was absolutely astonished at what I saw A transformation was taking place right before our eyes I had left the house only days earlier and this bathroom was a bright turquoise today it was shiny pristine white You t tell that it had been faced it looked like it had been that way except for the man in the mask that was still working It was close to miracle stuff certainly it was magic If I seen it with my own eyes I t have believed it Then I slipped down to the powder room and a chipped harvest gold sink that I had seen a few days ago was now a sparkling bone shade with no signs of chips Wow Not only was I knocked off my feet but my clients were so pleased they were almost dancin So the final outcome of this story is pretty nice These lovely peo ple had put up with these bathrooms for many years not wanting to go to the hassle of pulling off tiles yanking out bathtubs replac odd sized sinks so they just sort of tried to make the best of it With this process it was done in no time and for a fraction of the cost mess Their bathrooms look like a million dollars and now no matter how much longer they live in their beautiful home they will have the remaining time in their bathrooms spent viewing a whole different vista Now they will have a good crack at getting this house sold and I would hazard a guess that we would have had next to no chance before These things are so important to the successful sale of a home don ever think that your home is any different If in doubt check with your local real estate sales rep and if you get a funny look when you ask about your bathroom don wait for the hesitant answer reach for the phone I know that you will be so happy that you did Homes Sold Creatively Glenda Hughes a Sales Representative with Brand Realty in Georgetown Air conditioners and water heaters must soon meet minimum standards TORONTO Air
