THE Wednesday Septembers llMPageS MS A Fair To Remember STUNT DRIVERS Exciting entertainment for the entire family Date Saturday Sept 8 1990 Time 330 pm Location GEORGETOWN FAIRGROUNDS Sponsored by CANADIAN TIRE 236 Guelph Street Georgetown Georgetown Farm Olympics Time for all you amateur farmers to flex your muscles and compete at the Farm Olympics This is a brief explanation of the events in this fun filled and NOT TOO SERIOUS COMPETITION First six teams to register will compete The team will consist of mode of transportation of your choice at discretion of the judges maximum of 7 members from your organization The teams 1 members will carry 4 buckets full of water about feet and pass them onto your mode of transportation at end of you will also be judged on the amount of water remaining in the buckets the next station members will be blindfolded and guided by a fifth team member and they will make a four bale it must stand for 7 seconds and are to be left standing Next 1 member is to tie a bag of gram and then load it on to the mode of transportation It must remain tied for the duration of the event At the next station the com is to be tied into a sheath so that it stands for 7 5 The following station is nail driving each member is to drive a inch spike in to a log it must go all the way m before the next person can begin If you bend a nail you can start another When all 7 members have completed you will pick up everything and move to the next station Log sawing fun with cross cut saws some sharp some not so sharp one per son will not cut Each pair will cut cookies from the log while the others steady the log Load up the cookies and 7 upon completion all members will manipulate their team and mode of transportation through a short obstacle course Take the plank a two bales make a walkway and two members of the team will carry two pails of water over the walkway Each member carrying the pails of water will set two Cow Chips each into a hoop amount of cow chip Each team will proceed to a pen and pick milking and take it to the milking area time limi Once complete goat is to be returned to P them down and toss in hoop is judged out one goat for 2 minute The entire event will be judged by a stopwatch Each team will be accompanied by an official judge who will determine the completion of each event There will be 10 second time penalties for leaving before a station is fully completed The Sheath of Corn and bale will be judged on a scale of 30 for neatness The equivalent number of seconds will be deducted from your tolal time The bag of gram must remain tied If any grain is spilled the team will receive a second penalty The total inches of water remaining the buckets will be deducted from the total time in seconds The total inches of milk in he cup will be added in seconds to your total Come prepared to have fun Entry fee is 25 and includes admission for 7 team members to the event Winner will donate prize money to chanty of their choice Entry fee is to be paid prior to Sunday September9lh Contact Al Cook 877 Georgetown Food Market MOORE PARK PLAZA St North Georgetown Ontario Bob Pjat Creasy Pleasing You Pleases Us
