inauguration banquet of the District Scout Council Over 80 scouts council officers members of scout auxiliaries and parents of scouts were attending the banquet The guests at the banquet listened as the cial Commissioner addressed them about scouting Mr Worth sung praises about scouting and how it is so beneficial in building a young man character Mr Worth also pointed out the advantage of having a scout council and congratulated them in acquiring a camp for local scouts and cubs in Hillsburgh In typical scout tradition a sing along followed the dinner this sing along was led by Mr and Mrs The dinner at the banquet was prepared by he ladies of the first Georgetown Auxiliary 20 Years Ago The annual tour of Halton areas was taken by members of County Council Agricultural Commit tee
