budgets and forecasts after much deliberation were finalized The major goal the 1991 Hall Board has is to waterproof the original part of the basement Following that the walls and floor have to be refurbished and the kitchen outfitted This section sits empty currently unable to be used due to the water seepage In the Community Centre Park forecast a soccer field is planned as well as more equipment to be added to the childrens playground Jim Bailey has repaired over 20 chairs and will be securing material to replace several table tops Jim is also currently tendering bids for the grass cutting requirements for the 1991 season This contract is awarded on a yearly basis All in terested parties are to submit written quotes to Jim who can be contacted at for more in formation After receiving all bids the Hall Board will decide who will receive the contract at a later meeting The Jim Dandies met last week at the home of Coach Jim Bailey It was nice for the team to get together ant start making plans for the new season Various pieces of equipment were looked at The team will be purchasing batting helmets sweat shirts for the cooler weather and some cat ching equipment Elaine Bowman was named Captain for the season June is retiring after many years She will be greatly missed Schedules were handed out and the action starts for the ladies on May 7 with their first game speaker was George Shelswell of Guelph who spoke on New Chemicals for New Weeds in our area Also New Safe Handling Systems including the weed spray that has been taken off the market because of the
