TORONTO A Hills woman opposing the incineration of garbage was ejected from the Ontario Legislature on Monday after she unfurled a banner in the public gallery during Question- Period Rita Landry who belongs to the Incineration Counteracts the Environment ICE group displayed a sign reading Ban In cineration causing Speaker David Warner to ask guards to have her removed Landry said she resorted to attempt to escape the police pull ed into the parking lot In the parking lot the driver another police cruiser causing damage No officers were injured Two police cruisers continued the chase of the stolen car onto Hwy westbound but the pur suit was ordered terminated by the Patrol Sergeant when the car reached a speed of kilometres an hour police werent able to find the stolen car or its oc cupants but did lay a charge of leaving keys in a vehicle while unattended against the Acton man whose car was stolen Regional Police Detec tive Sergeant Mike Eacrett was able to establish what happened after the highspeed chase by speaking with Peel Regional Police officers who arrested the young offenders later that day Detective Sergeant said the young offenders travell ed to Brampton When they saw a Peel police cruiser they took off down Mill Street South in Bramp ton went through three stop signs lost control of the car on a curve hit a tree and ended up in the front yard of a
