00pm Sunday Public Family 4 Adult Georgetown Bowl Senior team begins highlow tournament GEORGETOWN BOWL SENIORS The seniors had a very exciting week as the highlow doubles tournament began cm April 11 This year the tournament will be run differently as all teams will remain in the running until the last week At this point the team which has the most points over average will be awarded a prize Topping this weeks scoreboard was again Dave Ridley 750286 Following dose behind the leader were Christina Lane 741284 Robert Harrison Eddie Doyle and Laura Doyle The seniors will be playing in several tournaments that are coming up within the next few weeks On April the seniors paired up with a junior and ban tam to compete in the Combo tournament in Georgetown but results were unavailable at press time The top male and female teams will be leaving our house round to compete in the zones Next weekend the seniors will be competing in the Bowler of the Year tournament in Georgetown and then Dave Ridley Brian Bell Eddie Doyle and Christina Lane will be moving on to Acton Lanes to compete in the Master Senior Bell will be bowling with master Hole Doyle will be with Carolyn Lane Christina will be bowling with her father Gord Lane and Ridley will pair up with Dee Dee Haynes To end the month on a high note there will be two teams representing Georgetown Bowl at the Senior Invitational April 28 in Hamilton Rounding out the year Georgetown will be sending three individuals to the B C Bursary tournament May 19 in Nepean Brian Bell Dave Ridley and Ed die Doyle are three senior bowlers who will be graduating this year from the bowling coun cil and will be competing at Can dido Bowl for the top prize of a first year of free master bowling Home of The Country For Veen
