THE HERALD April ml Hydro to hire workers Hills Hydro Commis sion directed staff Friday to hire four part time workers to be employed this summer Three of the part time employees will be used to cut lawns at the utility substation locations and fill in for staff Each will be paid hour A university engineering student will also be hired to do computer work for the commis sion and will be paid per hour Initially the jobs were to be of only to students But based on the recession and the ex perience the Town of Halton Hills has experienced to date regar ding temporary workers the commission decided to offer the jobs to anyone Town of Halton Hills Mayor and Hydro Commissioner Russ Miller said Friday the Town received 246 applications for four temporary Town Recreation and Parks positions The positions pay per hour and run from the beginning of Apnl to the end of September Town Superintendent for Parks Bryan Shynall Monday confirm the Mayor s information and added that there was only
