from Burlington Brampton and and started the season On June 3 however op timism was high for a home game against Milton A throwing error in the first in ning led to a 30 Milton lead and it looked like started to tire and Milton counted four runs to get to within five Todd Bussell got that one back however as he came home on a wild pitch He had singled and been moved to third on two sacrifices by comeback of the year go for naught as the Brampton Blazers avenged their earlier defeats to the Hoosiers with a victory in Brampton last week The evened Firestones league record at After two and a half scoreless innings Brampton capitalized on two errors and three timely hits to take a commanding 60 lead Firestone began to chip away at the lead in the next inning Michelle Sloley led off with a outs Firestone crept a run closer in the sixth Peacock on base via a fielders choice stole second and scored on a throwing error by the Brampton catcher In the bottom of the inning cat cher Sloley threw out the runner attempting to steal second to highlight another scoreless frame In the top of the seventh the Hoosiers put together a four run rally to tie up the game Stigger led off and was hit by a pitch One out later Shannon Morris drove in Stigger with a single up the middle doubled to put run ners at second and third and Peacock followed with a two run double It was Peacock proceeded to take third on a wild pitch and Stacy Colarossi drove her in with a ground ball The game was tied Unfortunately for Hoosiers a twobase throwing error allowed Brampton to score in the bottom of the
