and her hus band George Epitropou now in Georgetown who were married earlier this year Tracy and her parents Barry and Karen Whitworth have been a part of the Com muraty for a number of years and are now living on the former Farm In honor of the bridal couples recent marriage close neighbours presented the couple with a set of four oak V trays Attending were Barry and Karen Whitworth Gertrude McGee John and Jean Lou and Linda Ricci Claude McLaughlin and Spencer and Kay Wilson Unable to attend were Randy and Helen Ricci and Gordon and Peggy Early Follow a thank you from the couple lunch was served by the hostess and a social hour followed Wedding anniversary Congratulations to Charlie and Catherine Forsyth of Georgetown who are celebrating their wedding anniversary on June 15 with an open house 2 5pm at 20 Hall Road Georgetown Service of Celebration St Stephens Anglican Church I News Hornby held their Service of Celebration for the Annual Cemetery and Memorial Day on June 9 Rev Margaret Murray con ducted the service Rev Richard of was guest minister whose sermon dealt with the forefathers of snipers who rest in the adjoining cemetery Rev went on to com pare their primitive followed Baby boy Congratulations to Jack and Cathy Hamilton R on the birth of their baby boy Thomas James Murray at Peel Memorial Hospital on June 6 A little brother for Shannon Ninth time grandparents for Lloyd and Ella and third time grandparents for ray and Roberta Hamilton of Lindsay and 15 great grand children for Catherine Laidlaw Huttonville Strawberry Festival Huttonville Strawberry Festival is being held this year in conjunction with the opening of the Brampton City Hall this Saturday Warn to m in Gage Park Brampton The strawberrys are being sup plies by the of converting the provinces courts to ensure barrier free access for people with disabilities As part of the governments commitment to en accessibility to the courts new facilities will be sought and existing courtrooms will be renovated Consultations will be held with organizations for peo ple with disabilities in ing the necessary renovations The government is committed to protecting the rights of people with disabilities by ensuring then- freedom from discrimination in the province s courts said At torney General Howard Hamp ton This initiative will enable the ministry to meet it s tions under the Human Rights Code to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities A toll free number will be pro moted this fall to provide in formation on barrier free The Ontano Of fice for Disabled Persons will operate the information line and will refer callers to appropriate Ministry of Attorney General staff responsible for scheduling accessible court arrangements As well the Ministry of the At torney General is seeking the participation of law enforcement agencies in providing notice of the toll free number and ser vices These initiatives are being undertaken to improve ac cessibihty to the justice system and to respond to the needs of all members of society said Mr Hampton The Ministrys modernization program is being announced as part of the governments focus on National Access
