Beloved wife and soul mate of James McDermott. Loving mother of Michael and Lee McDermott. Marion was looking forward to the arrival of her sixth great grandchild in October. Survived by her sisters Doreen Wynn, Mae French, and Judy Varcoe and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Marion will be remembered as a gentle and compassionate woman who always put her family first. She was a great listener, loved long phone conversations, and always had an amazing memory and sharp wit. Cremation and private family memorial has taken place. Special thanks to Dr. Trainor and the Guelph General Hospital Doctors and Nurses for their wonderful care of Marion.
