THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2011 Sports with The New Tanner THE NEW TANNER Peewee Power Rockwood Girls U10 tie Fergus 13 The Acton Peewee Precast Athletics have been hot at bat and in the field so far this season, winning all five of their games so far, and earning a second-place finish at a weekend tournament in Georgetown. Acton downed Brookville 20-11, and had a 13-8 win over Georgetown, a 10-7 win over Georgetown, a 17-14 win over Kilbride, and downed Georgetown (no score available.) The Rockwood Rocket U10 girls' Select team battled a 3-3 tie in an away game against Fergus recently. The girls have been practicing in the new Marden facility to get ready for the 2011 season. They battled the heat and played unbelievably, PEEWEE PRECAST UNDEFEATED: The Acton Precast Athletics Peewee team is undefeated so far this with compassion, heart and stamina to tie their season.
