Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Cameron Elgie and Nadiya Safonova. Both are members of the Rebels swim team. At the recent OFSAA meet, Safonova brought home gold in the 100 freestyle, silver in the 50 butterfly and gold in the 200 medley relay. Elgie won gold in the 200 freestyle, silver in the 100 freestyle nd finished fifth in the 100 freestyle medley. Christ the King Catholic High School Athletes of the Week are Chelsea Steele and Troy Breen. Steele, a member of the Jaguars curling team, was recognized for her great effort in a game against Notre Dame, where, in spite of losing on the last rock, she played a great game as lead second.
