A farm tractor and trailer were stolen from a Steeles Ave. property sometime Saturday or Sunday. The tractor is a 1975 blue Ford farm tractor with a blue plow on the front and red hydraulic arm on the rear valued at $3,000. The trailer is black, 12 ft. long and $3,000. *** An Acton man is facing charges after police stopped a vehicle on Guelph St. about 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Police found two flick knives during a search of the vehicle. Charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon is Jeffery McBean, 23, of Acton. *** A Georgetown woman is facing charges after a collision on Brock Rd. just north of Wellington Rd. 34 at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Wellington OPP responded to the two-car collision just north of Aberfoyle in which a Honda, driven by a Georgetown woman, had collided with a southbound Chevy driven by a Guelph man who wasn't injured. Police spoke with the driver of the Honda and discovered she had been drinking. Charged with impaired driving and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is Meaghan Farley, 27, of Georgetown. *** A $9,500 2011 Palamino tent trailer was stolen from the lot at Georgetown RV on Lindsay Court sometime between Wednesday and Saturday. *** Approximately $1,000 damage was caused at a Charles St. residence Saturday between 4 and 9 a.m. Pieces of asphalt were thrown through two single pane windows in the home and the windshield of a vehicle parked at the property.
