Halton Regional Chair Special Waste Drop-off Day On Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Halton Region will be at the Robert C. Austin Operations Centre, 11620 Trafalgar Road, to collect residential electronics (computers, TVs, etc.) and household hazardous waste (pesticides, paints, household batteries, etc.). Visit www.halton.ca/waste. Spring Compost Give Away Halton Region's popular Spring Compost Give Away will take place this year from Monday, May 10 until Saturday, May 15. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at the Halton Waste Management Site, located at 5400 Regional Road 25 in Milton. To ensure a reliable, continuous supply of water for essential and emergency needs, Halton has launched a new Outdoor Water Use strategy designed to quickly and effectively communicate outdoor water use restrictions. Halton is a directory of local @SQGLCQQCQÏLMLÌNPMÍRÏMPE?LGX?RGMLQÏ?LBÏ municipal facilities that take back materials to be reused, recycled or disposed. In partnership with the Town, Halton Region operates Battery Depots at the Acton Arena, Civic Centre, Gellert Community Centre, Georgetown Library, and MoldMasters SportsPlex, to collect household rechargeable and single-use batteries.
