Photo by Jon Borgstrom Police blotter Appliances taken from model home Halton Police report a stove and fridge, valued at $3,000 in total, were stolen from a model home that was broken into in the Davidson Dr./Hwy. 25 area sometime Wednesday. ··· Four Stihl cement saws valued at $6,000 were stolen sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Thursday from a storage container at a Tenth Line property. ··· Halton Police stopped a vehicle on Oak St. about 12:45 a.m. Friday after receiving a call about a suspected impaired driver. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot but officers located him a short distance away. Charged with impaired driving and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is John Schira, 27, of Georgetown.
