22 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, April 29, 2010 SPORTS & LEISURE Bulldogs win season opener Shane Scott had a hat trick and added three assists against his former team as the Halton Hills Bulldogs began their Ontario Lacrosse Association Jr. B regular season with a 9-3 triumph over the host Mississauga Tomahawks Tuesday evening in Clarkson. Scott scored just 13 seconds into the contest and the visitors built an early 3-0 lead before their offence began to misfire, allowing the Tomahawks to close the gap to 4-3 near the end of the middle period. Nic Grasby (2), Peter Laidlaw and rookies Jordan Dance, Connor Sellars and Leland de Langley rounded out the scoring.
