Residents were invited to the Robert C. Austin Public Works Yard on Trafalgar Road where they dropped off electronic waste and hazardous materials, picked up compost and woodchips, bought trees, enjoyed a delicious barbecue and checked out the town's many cool machines. Afterwards everyone headed over to the Georgetown Market Place for an Earth Day Fair, which featured music, balloons, live animals and displays from local environmental groups. Community Clean Up Halton Hills is sparkling again thanks to the hard work of the dozens of people who took part in the annual Community Clean Up Day on April 17.
